I'm kind of conflicted here, since my wife and I are expecting our second boy in October. Clearly, I can't give away any names from our secret stash. In light of that, I recommend "James."

Why? It has a great ring to it, NT James has quite the legacy, and it happens to be my middle name.

Good luck!

Fair enough! Your submission has been officially logged.

brenton. it says "virile, Godly, and dangerous."

you can use some wussy biblical thing as the middle name, if it makes you feel better.

It does have a "I cut my own hair all the time" sort of danger to it. It is officially subverted, urrr...submitted!

From Nymbler.com, using only Eli as an input I got...Walker, Micah, Maxwell, Jonas, and...Ephraim? That site is great because you add names you know you like and it suggests ones you might not have thought of.

Jennifer, thanks for stopping in! I actually have a couple of those names on my (growing) list. And I'll check out nymbler. Feel free to drop back by.

I really like names with alliteration. Larry, Leonard, and Lionel would all be good choices. He could grow up to be a professional sport star or great public speaker. Judah is a great bible name if you like that sort of thing.
But my official entry would be David, which means beloved. He friends could call him Dave. Werent you planning on naming him after me anyway?
